Jakes Ground Beef Assistor

I got this recipe from Jake Walkenhorst.  It is his take on a home made 'Hamburger Helper' type meal.  It was quiet tasty!

Jake's Ground Beef Assistor
recipe from www.jakesrecipes.blogspot.com

2 lbs. lean ground beef (I used 1 lbs.)
1 large onion, chopped
1 rib celery, chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped
1 can diced tomatoes in juice
1 can tomato sauce
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. dried oregano leaves
2 c. dried small macaroni (I used whole wheat elbows)
1 c. water
2 c. shredded cheddar

Brown beef with onion, celery and peppers until meat is no longer pink.  Drain any excess fat.
Add all other ingredients excpet cheese.
Simmer over medium-low heat.
Cover and cook, until pasta is done.
Serve with shredded cheese on top.
