Smothered Chicken

Smothred Chicken
Recipe from

4 chicken breasts
Montreal steak seasoning
BBQ sauce
6 slices of bacon
4 slices of cheddar cheese
1/2 c. chopped green onions

Sprinkle chicken breasts with Montreal Steak Seasoning on both sides.
Bake in skillet for about 6 minutes on each side.
While chicken is cooking, fry up bacon.  When crisp, break into pieces.

On top of cooked chicken, spread a layer of BBQ sauce, about 1 Tbsp. per breast.
Layer bacon on top of sauce, and top with cheese.
Cover with lid and cook for another 10-15 minutes.
Layer with chopped green onions and serve with Honey Mustard Sauce (optional).
